Regression Facilitators must demonstrate their ability to activate the subconscious mind memory bank of another individual to recall parts of a past life. Past life recall consists of emotional experiences of a past incarnation through clairvoyant visions, emotional impressions, and reliving the feelings of that trauma. The Facilitator will be adept at asking questions, thus allowing the person being regressed to view themselves as a bystander in the attire of the past life in a normal life experience or traumatic experience.

Internship, Licensing, Ordination for NAMI Certification Programs

NAMI Certification students studying for the metaphysical ministry or practitioner status, who successfully complete the prescribed course of study will receive the appropriate diploma or certificate. Students may begin their intern program after the first year of course work is completed. If accepted to the program (you may contact the CMS for application procedure) the student will devote the year to developing skills and demonstrating ability by performing specific duties under the supervision of the faculty advisor or a designated person. The student is required to perform various hours of service as prescribed by the faculty advisor. The internship is designed to test "on site" skills of the student, to place the trainee in a situation requiring accountability to an individual or group. During the year the student should make monthly reports (or have monthly conferences) with their supervisor to assess progress. At the conclusion of the internship, the student is a candidate for certification by the New Awareness Ministries International only. It should be noted here that NAMI Certification does not imply certification or licensing by any any Florida state agency. NAMI Certification is not an honor automatically conferred after completing course work and the internship program. The quality of the candidate's work is assessed by the NAMI and the CMS which may also interview candidates before bestowing its certification and hereby so reserves the right to do so. See statement on Certification below.

NAMI Certification Policy

Recognizing that NAMI certification is not an honor conferred automatically following, and/or as a result of the completion of course work at a recognized educational institution; and recognizing that NAMI certification implies a special and a solemn responsibility on the recipient; and recognizing that NAMI certification is an honor granted solely by the New Awareness Ministries International, the following policy regarding certification at the New Awareness Ministries International shall serve as the governing policy for the College of Metaphysical Studies.

  1. Upon the recommendation of the CMS to New Awareness Ministries International, certification shall be granted to those individuals who have completed the prescribed course of study at the CMS; and who have satisfactorily completed the program and who shall be deemed worthy by the New Awareness Ministries International to carry the name of the New Awareness Ministries International as NAMI certified metaphysical practitioners.

  2. Upon the recommendation of the CMS to New Awareness Ministries International, NAMI certification shall be granted to those individuals who have completed studies at schools other than the New Awareness Ministries CMS, and whose work is then judged as equivalent to the courses offered at the CMS, and whose internship or equivalency is deemed worthy of NAMI certification.

  3. In any or all of the above, the New Awareness Ministries International and/or CMS may require further academic or internship work as a prerequisite for qualification for certification, licensing or ordination prior to recommendation for certification to the New Awareness Ministries International.

  4. Annual dues for all NAMI Certified or Licensed Practitioners will be paid and submitted to NAMI during the month of October each year. The amount of annual dues will be assessed according to the highest category attained by the individual. Each individual will contribute for one category only. It is the belief of the NAMI and CMS that all those applying for Certification and/or Licensing shall demonstrate a sincere interest in actively contributing to and participating in the furtherance of the objects and purposes of the NAMI. The amount of annual dues contributed by the individual Practitioner will be determined by the concurrent agreement of the Pastoral Board and the Board of Directors of NAMI.

  5. All those applying for NAMI Certification or Licensing must agree to be harmoniously bound by the rules, regulations and the Declaration of Principles of NAMI and CMS. Application forms for Practitioner Membership will be supplied by the NAMI Board of Directors and must be accompanied with the appropriate annual dues when submitted.

  6. All three-year ministerial students will complete the Healing Arts Program, as modified for the Ministerial Education Program, during their first two years of study and will receive an Associate of Metaphysical Healing Arts degree and certification as both a holistic healing practitioner and a metaphysical healing practitioner. Those students meeting the CMS standards for Licentiate Minister are recommended for licensing. After completing the three-year course of study including a minimum of one year of service as a Licentiate Minister in an approved ministry setting, the student will become eligible for invitation to Ordained Minister status. The issuance of an invitation to be licensed or ordained and the final approval of licensing or ordination rest with the New Awareness Ministries International Pastoral Board.

NAMI Certification status is conferred by invitation only. During their training, students are examined periodically by the Academic and Pastoral Boards of the New Awareness Ministries International. The issuance of an invitation to be certified and the final approval of NAMI certification will rest solely with the New Awareness Ministries International.
