Standards For Graduation And Certification The right of graduation and certification from this program is granted when you provide evidence of possessing the ability to sense, to understand, to interpret, and to use for practical purposes, a force that enters in and emanates out of the body and mind without the use of the five senses; force is sensed in the conscious mind and is projected out of same; ability can be accomplished through the strong emotion of desire, study, and practice or can be inborn and brought under control with practice. New Awareness Ministries International Psychic or Intuitive Practitioners are certified to perform, teach and practice the various specific phases and modes of psychism. All Intuitive Practitioners are bound by a high code of ethics to protect the confidence of the client. This evidence must be in addition to spending a certain length of time in training and completing designated course. Evidence must emphasizes spiritual, mental, and emotional maturity; devotion to a life-style of service to others; metaphysical, spiritual and intellectual clarity about the purpose and meaning of the metaphysical practitioner profession; and the demonstrated skills to work effectively with people, organize one's own life, and understand administrative responsibilities appropriate to your chosen field of service. Specific requirements are:
Graduation from the CMS Intuitive Practitioner program does not mean automatic certification as a Spirit Medium. A student who successfully completes the prescribed course of study shall receive a certificate of completion for each course. Individual Intern Programs will be customized to the availability of each student by the CMS faculty advisor. Service hours performed will be converted to credit hours and entered on the official student transcript. (See Internship, Licensing and Ordination for Certification Programs.) The internship will include at least 60 contact hours of sitting in Intuitive development circles with a qualified medium and testing for intuitive skills by a board of peers. It should be understood that the internship is designed to test "on site" skills of the student, to place the trainee in a situation requiring accountability. During the program the student should make monthly reports (or arrange monthly conferences) with their supervisor to assess progress. At the conclusion of the internship, the student is a candidate for certification by the New Awareness Ministries. Certification is not an honor automatically conferred after completing course work and the internship program. The quality of the candidate's work is assessed by the New Awareness Ministries International and the CMS that may also interview candidates before bestowing certification and hereby so reserves the right to do so.
